Data Catalog Operations Manager

Hoodie Analytics is obsessed with data quality – The Data Catalog team is responsible for the timely collection, cleansing, categorization and standardization of product data prior to that data powering our applications and services.

As the Data Catalog Operations Manager you are an analyst by nature, constantly probing the data to determine how best to improve overall quality. As a manager of people, you are monitoring, motivating, and training team members to affect improvements and maintain standards across the entire catalog. As the team lead, you are collaborating with cross-functional teams to align priorities with client needs, and interfacing with technical teams to drive technical product enhancements that support the needs of your department.

We start with people who are genuinely nice people to hang out with.  Make sure they are super smart and motivated.  Lastly, we have a no jerk policy…zero tolerance. No one likes working in a company with a difficult co-worker or boss.

When you focus on the right people, suddenly it’s possible to attack that big idea, crush extremely hard problems, and excite your customer base.

Our philosophy, in a nutshell, is “People, Product, Profit”.  Great companies are created in that order.
